The combination of suri alpaca and silk gives a silky texture that feels luxurious and incredibly comfortable against the skin. Suri Alpaca Silk is the perfect follower thread, and a great alternative to mohair if you feel it gets too scratchy. Baby suri alpaca is the softest and most luxurious alpaca wool you can get.
The yarn is hand-dyed in very small portions, which means that no two skeins are the same. Therefore, please make sure to order enough yarn for your project so that the yarn is from the same dyeing. If you want the most even color play possible, you can knit with 2 skeins at a time. But you can of course also embrace the uniqueness of hand-dyed yarn and knit with one skein.
